How to Troubleshoot Linksys Velop Not Working Issue?

Linksys Velop is a mesh system is a device which consists of two or more devices, in which parent Velop node connects to the main modem or home network. Solutions to Linksys Velop Not Working Issue

Reboot Linksys Velop System

The rebooting process shut down all the system and turn it on again, this will refresh the networking device settings and networks. Let’s have a look how to reboot using two different methods;

  2. Go to a web browser, enter the login IP address 192.168.1.1 or URL linksyssmartwifi.com and search.
  3. You will get to the Linksyssmartwifi interface login window, here; you have to enter the username and password.
  4. Configure all the settings correctly again and complete the Linksys velop setup again.

You can also configure the Velop device from the app which you can download in your phone easily.

Via Linksys App

  • You have to go to the Play Store if you have Android device or App Store if have iOS device.
  • Here, just search the Linksys app and download it by taping on the Install (Play Store) or Get (App Store).
  • After that, you have to open it and configure the Velop in your house.
  • To configure, you just have to Sign Up, enter the Email Address, name, password and confirm password.
  • After that, you will access the main dashboard where you have to connect Alexa device to your extender network.

Update Firmware

  1. Open the Linksys app and access the app by admin credentials.
  2. You have to go to the MENU option and select the Firmware tab.
  3. Here, you just have to toggle the Automatic Update option to turn of the update.
  4. Then, just tap on the UPDATE button to start the Firmware update process.
